There’s nothing quite like coming home — especially when you get to share it with your kids.
This past year back in Pennsylvania was more than just a pit stop between military moves. It was a homecoming. A chance to show my kids where I grew up, drive past my old schools, grab hoagies from my favorite corner store, and say things like “this is where we used to....”
It was family dinners with multiple generations squished around the table. It was cousin chaos in the backyard and ladies who lunch. It was loud, loving, and exactly what we needed during a season of big emotions and even bigger responsibilities.
We faced a deployment. We balanced sports, school drop-offs, business, and caretaking. Helping my Mom Mom navigate through dementia this year was one of the hardest things we’ve faced, but the way this community wrapped us in support — especially through her dedication tee — will stay with me forever. The love? Unmatched.
Through it all, Wavy Boutique became my escape — my sunshine in the middle of the real-life mess. Packing orders in between mom life, hopping on live sales, getting creative with styling… it filled my cup in a way I didn’t even realize I needed & you showed up for it all. You supported this dream like it was your own.
And while we’re beyond excited for the next chapter in Savannah (hello, coastal living again!), it’s not easy to leave this place. This zip code held so much — our people, our memories, our chaos, and our comfort. You’ve always had grit, heart, and a deep love of soft pretzels. And if we’re lucky… maybe another Super Bowl win is in your future. (You know we’ll still be screaming "Go Birds!" from Georgia.)
Thanks for being home. We’ll miss you, but we’re carrying everything you gave us right along with us.
With love always,
Kassie
